Exhibition Dates: Friday 1st - Sunday 24 November, Open daily 9AM - 4PM
The art class has been held at Felstead street for 15 years, led by the professional artist John Close.
The journey of enrichment started with a very small number of participants and questions. “What is art?” and “What do I do?” The art is for everyone. All have different ways to enjoy what the art brings to their individual lives.
Bit By Bit represents not only the process of painting by the artists, but also their determination to persist in the conquest of challenges and various skills development.
“I am opening up to others bit by bit”, “I learnt how to concentrate bit by bit.”, “I became the artist bit by bit.”, “I became happier bit by bit.” We all found something through art bit by bit.
The art and creative activities touched so many residents in many ways bit by bit. We are moving forward together bit by bit however slow it might be. This exhibition shares the idea of equality and the role that art can pay in better mental health to improve the quality of life.
