Phiri was born in Mozambique, and lives in Enfield. His artistic career began at Maputo School of Fine Art. Graduating student of honour, in Graphic Design, Painting and Photography and he then went on to illustrate children’s books with Professor Artist Brazilian Zirald Pinto, and has exhibited his work extensively in single and collective shows both in Mozambique, South America and Europe.

Recently Phiri has been exploring mixed media {Paintings} using various materials such, coffee, sand, pencil sharpenings and wood varnish.
